COLBY + ALEX | CLASSY BOHEMIAN WEDDING IN STILLWATER, OK

Alex and Colby’s day was filled with family, friends, sweet toasts, and a fire truck exit! Alex looked like a literal bohemian princess in her off the shoulder tule and lace ball gown with her braided updo. Their wedding was at Sparrow Beginnings in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Whenever I talk to people about Sparrow Beginnings, I always say, “They literally thought of everything,” which is a huge compliment from a wedding photographer! 

Alex and Colby had an indoor ceremony that was precious! Their wedding took place in March, and it was quite cold outside in Oklahoma that day (you truly never know what you’re going to get in Oklahoma). We went outside for pictures after the ceremony. I always recommend using natural lighting as much as possible on wedding days, even if it take baring the cold weather for just a few minutes! The grass hadn’t quite turned green yet, but if I’m honest, that’s actually how I prefer it! I love the neutral colors that the grass creates before it has turned green.

Their reception, like I said, was filled with family lots of family and friends. One thing that I uniquely remember about this reception was the toasts! They were so sweet and personal, and it truly speaks to how genuine and kind Alex and Colby are. 

At the end of the evening, The couple had quite the grand exit! Colby is a firefighter, so for the couple’s exit, everyone moved outside to watch as the couple waved “goodbye” to their guests before they jumped on a firetruck and took off!
